Abstract

This investigation has purpose to find out whether there was an effect of the Flash card method on the ability to write narrative texts for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Gadingrejo. This research method is used quantitative research design. Collecting data using Pre-Test, Treatment, and Post-Test are applied in this study. The analysis of the data used is statistically using t-Test. In the process of data analysis, it was found that the average score of students who were taught using the Flash Card method to write narrative texts was better than the students who were not taught using the Flash card method.
